SÃO PAULO...a bit more!

São Paulo

São Paulo's more than 400 years old and hosts 70 different nationalities...walking on the streets, it's like meeting people from so many different places and backgrounds...it's seeing the entire brazil represented out there...different languages, japaneses, koreans, bolivians,..Paraguay, Peru,..and also different styles...hippies, punks, ladies, playboys, gays, rich, poor..everyone's is out there and it seems that the city is already adapted to the "different"...they don't look aside...in a city of 10 million people, the irony is that it seems that each one has built its own space, limited space...liberty to express himself...that's why the culture is so strong in São Paulo.

Talking a walk in Paulista's Avenue, I met a Drag Queen making a concert in the middle of the sidewalk, everyone was well dressed lookin and clapping for her performance,...a closed street for a Trance party where the people were dressing old clothes and music videos were exposed on the wall of a huge building, poor people sleeping on the street, gay couples walking everywhere, fancy parties for commemorating architecture old styles,...and a fact that called my attention: everyone's well dressed!

Here in São Paulo, I'm organizing a national conference of AIESEC...i'm responsibible for the sustainability policy of this confernece...that's why I came to SP one week in advance...to arrange everything here in the house of the MC - the NNational AIESEC Team - in this house lives the National president and directors...and also some other guests...hehe...as Farofa from AIESEC in Ita (during the weekends)..and the CC Team...the theam that is organizing the international confeence of AIESEC which is going to be here in Brazil next year! It's a really nice and strong environment to learn...as everyone that lives here has a strong leadership behavior and AIESEC understanding...and also a strong cultural background...in this house there's an australian girl, a girl from Lithuania (who worked for aiesec international), another from the Netherlands, another one from Colombia a the national director of projects from Ukraine...can you imagine how's like to live in São Paulo? Different cultures? International organization? Aiming at generating and contributing for activating leadership in youngs and building up chnage agents, achievers,... this is São Paulo! This is AIESEC...
